Newly opened in 2006, Clennell Hall Hotel in Alwinton is set within the Northumberland National Park in the Coquet Valley offering luxury accommodation and fine dining at a very reasonable price for visitors, walkers and cyclists as well as providing guests with a perfect hideaway for a relaxing break surrounded by magnificent views, sheltered gardens and wildlife. Walking, hiking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf and hot-air ballooning are some of the many activities that are all close by.

Proprietors Nigel and Lynn Dunwoodie have completely refurbished this large 13th Century attractive stone-built Hall to create an extremely comfortable and luxurious country Hotel while retaining many original architectural features. Clennell Hall Hotel comprises ten double bedrooms, all en suite, four of them being larger family rooms and having a alarm clock/radio, hair drier, tea/coffee trays, ironing facilities, and writing desks.
